Mploy Group is working exclusively with a fast-scaling technology business delivering next-generation environmental monitoring solutions into mission-critical operational settings.
The organisation has built a highly differentiated sensing platform that is already active in real-world deployments. Demand is increasing across energy networks and large-scale land-based industries, and the business is now focused on strengthening its commercial leadership to support the next stage of revenue growth.
This is an opportunity for a senior commercial leader to step into an active environment, take ownership of revenue performance, and elevate an existing sales capability.

The Position
-This role sits at the centre of the company’s growth agenda, combining commercial strategy with hands-on leadership.
-You will be responsible for setting direction, improving execution, and ensuring the sales function is structured to deliver consistent, scalable results.

Key areas of responsibility include:
-Defining and delivering the commercial growth plan
-Leading and developing an established sales team
-Improving sales structure, focus, and performance discipline
-Evolving market entry strategies across regulated and asset-heavy sectors
-Managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes
-Translating technically sophisticated products into compelling commercial value
-Shaping pricing, commercial models, and deal governance
-Partnering closely with engineering, product, and senior leadership
-Representing the commercial function at board, partner, and investor level

Candidate Profile
-You are an experienced commercial leader who has optimised and scaled revenue functions within technically demanding markets.

You will likely have:
-A background selling into energy, environmental, industrial, or agri-related sectors
-Experience taking hardware-enabled or deep-technology solutions to market
-Held senior roles such as Commercial Director, Head of Sales, VP Sales, or CCO
-Operated confidently across long-cycle, high-value enterprise deals
-A pragmatic, hands-on leadership style with strategic perspective
-The ability to make impact quickly within an existing team
-Candidates who are immediately available or on short notice are particularly of interest.
